Reel Blocker

Terms & Conditions

The rules for using Reel Blocker and Reel Blocker Pro, in plain language.

Effective October 9, 2026. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Nextsalution (“we”, “us”) for the Reel Blocker app (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

Your licence to use the App is described in our End User License Agreement (EULA), which forms part of these Terms.

1. What Reel Blocker does

Reel Blocker helps you use social media with fewer distractions. It opens the official websites of social platforms inside the App and hides features like Reels, Shorts, Explore, suggested posts and ads, and it can block the platforms' own apps using Apple's Screen Time.

Hiding and blocking is best effort. Platforms change their websites often, so some content may occasionally slip through, or a feature may stop working until we update our filters.

2. Third-party platforms

  • Reel Blocker is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram, Meta, YouTube, Google, TikTok, X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Snap or any other platform. Their names belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
  • Your account on each platform is governed by that platform's terms. You're responsible for following them.
  • We aren't responsible for the platforms' content, availability, or any action they take on your account.

3. Reel Blocker Pro subscriptions

  • Reel Blocker Pro is an auto-renewable subscription (for example monthly or yearly). Prices are shown in the App before you buy.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • If you start a free trial, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Manage or cancel at any time in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Screen Time, Sleep Mode and Commit Mode

Blocking features rely on Apple's Screen Time and run on your device. You can remove Reel Blocker's Screen Time access at any time in iOS Settings, which turns blocking off. Commit Mode is designed to slow you down, not to lock you out: you can always end it through the unlock steps. Reel Blocker isn't a parental-control or safety product and shouldn't be relied on in emergencies.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the App — for example by trying to reverse engineer it, interfering with how it works, using it to break the law or any platform's rules, or reselling it.

6. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, under these Terms and the App Store's rules. We own the App, its design and its content (excluding third-party content).

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will hide every piece of content. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, accounts or profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

8. Changes and ending these Terms

We may update the App and these Terms. If changes are important, we'll tell you in the App; continuing to use it means you accept them. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it and cancelling your subscription.
